The old military saying: Dont explain dont complain, holds true in Moses time & today
Numbers 21: 5–6
“GODs people traveled from Mt Hor along the Red Sea to Edom. But the people again grew impatient again they spoke out against GOD & Moses. Why have you brought us from Egypt to die here? There is no bread, no water & we detest this miserable food!”
Israel lacked the same thing we do today. They & we do not live a life of gratitude for what GOD has done but many times only look at what he has not done. Though slaves in Egypt they lived relative to the times very well & compared to the rest of the conditions in the world at that time relative comfort. They were spoiled & so are we. We must stop asking why GOD is not doing something for us & start asking what we can do in gratitude to be HIS hands & feet. Israel forget all the miracles they had seen with their own eyes, they conveniently forgot all that GOD had done for them & all HE promised to do for them in the future. Our FATHER has given us life its self. At what point do we start giving back??
